WampServer2.1
Steps to download:-
To install WampServer 2.1, you need to perform the following steps:
1. Download the software from the following link and save it in a folder on the systems’s hard drive:

NOTE:-If your system is 32 bit, click the WampServer2.1d-x32.exe link under the Name
column. If your system is 64 bit, click the WampServer2.1d-x64.exe link. A dialog box
appears at the bottom of the Web page. Click the down arrow of the Save combo button
and select the Save as option. The Save As dialog box appears. Browse to the desired
location and click the Save button. After the download is completed, close the dialog
box.
2. Browse to the location where the software is stored.
3. Double-click the WampServer2.1d-x64.exe file to execute it. The Setup - WampServer 2 wizard
appears, as shown in the following figure.

NOTE:-If the Open File - Security Warning dialog box appears, click the Run button.
NOTE:-If the User Account Control dialog box appears, click the Yes button to continue.
4. Click the Next button. The License Agreement page appears, as shown in the following figure.

5. Select the I accept the agreement option, and then click the Next button. The Select Destination Location page appears, as shown in the following figure.

6. Click the Next button. The Select Additional Tasks page appears, as shown in the following figure.

7. Click the Next button. The Ready to Install page appears, as shown in the following figure.

8. Click the Install button. The Installing page appears, as shown in the following figure.

Note:-This may take a few minutes.
The control moves to the Please choose your default browser. If you are not sure, just click Open: dialog box, as shown in the following figure.

9. Click the Open button. The PHP mail parameters page appears, as shown in the following figure.

10. Click the Next button. The Completing the WampServer 2 Setup Wizard page appears, as shown in
the following figure.

11. Click the Finish button. The WAMPSERVER
icon appears for few seconds on the taskbar, and then disappears.

NOTE:-If the User Account Control dialog box appears, click the Yes button to continue.
12. Click the Show hidden icons drop-down button in the right-hand side of the taskbar. The Show hidden
icons panel appears, as shown in the following figure.

13. Right-click the WAMPSERVER icon, and then select the Exit option.
Installing SugarCE-Full-6.5.8
To install SugarCE-Full-6.5.8, you need to perform the following steps:
1. Copy the SugarCE-Full-6.5.8 folder at the following location on your system:
C:\wamp\www
2. Start WampServer. The User Account Control dialog box appears.
NOTE:-The User Account Control dialog box will not appear if you have the administrative
rights. In that case, you need to skip Step 3.
3. Click the Yes button.
NOTE:-The WAMPSERVER
icon appears for few seconds on the taskbar, and then

4. Click the Show hidden icons drop-down button in the right-hand side of the taskbar. The Show hidden
icons panel appears, as shown in the following figure.

NOTE:-The number of icons in the Show hidden icons panel may differ as per the system’s
settings of the user.
5. Click the WAMPSERVER icon. The WAMPSERVER 2.1 - Powered by Alter Way menu appears, as shown in the following figure.

6. Click the Localhost option. The WAMPSERVER Homepage tab appears in Internet Explorer, as
shown in the following figure.

NOTE:-Alternatively, you can type http://localhost/ in the address bar of the browser to open
WAMPSERVER Homepage.
7. Click the SugarCE-Full-6.5.8 link under the Your Projects section. The Welcome to the SugarCRM 6.5.8 Setup Wizard page appears, as shown in the following figure.

8. Click the Next button. The Are you ready to install? page appears.
9. Click the Next button. The License Acceptance page appears, as shown in the following figure.

10. Select the I Accept check box.
NOTE:-This may take a few seconds.
11. Click the Next button. The Installation Options page appears, as shown in the following figure.

12. Click the Next button. The Database Type page appears, as shown in the following figure.

13. Click the Next button. The Database Configuration page appears, as shown in the following figure.

14. Type root in the Database Administrator Username text box under the Provide Database Name section, as shown in the following figure.

15. Select the Yes option in the Populate Database with Demo Data? drop-down list under the Choose
Demo Data section.
16. Click the Next button. The Site Configuration page appears, as shown in the following figure.

17. Type admin@123 in the Sugar Admin User Password text box.
18. Type admin@123 in the Re-enter Sugar Admin User Password text box.
NOTE:-You can use your own personalized admin name and password.
19. Click the Next button. The Confirm Settings page appears.
20. Click the Install button. The Perform Setup page appears, as shown in the following figure.

NOTE:-This may take a few minutes.
NOTE:-The Perform Setup page may display the Finish button instead of the Next button. In
such a situation, click the Finish button. The SUGARCRM login page will appear.
Then move to Step 23.
21. Click the Next button. The Registration (Optional) page appears.
22. Click the Next button. The SUGARCRM login page appears, as shown in the following figure.

23. Type Admin in the User Name text box.
24. Type admin@123 in the Password text box.
25. Click the Log In button. The Welcome to Sugar! page appears, as shown in the following figure.

NOTE:-If the dialog box asking whether you want Internet Explorer to remember the password
appears, click the No button.
26. Click the Next button. The Branding page appears, as shown in the following figure.

27. Click the Next button. The System Locale Settings page appears, as shown in the following figure.

28. Click the Next button. The SMTP Server Specification page appears, as shown in the following figure.

29. Click the Continue button. The Your Information page appears, as shown in the following figure.

30. Enter the desired details, and then click the Next button. The Your Locale page appears, as shown in the following figure.

31. Click the Next button. The You are ready to use Sugar! page appears, as shown in the following
figure.

32. Click the Finish button. The SUGARCRM homepage appears.
NOTE:-Ensure that you have Internet Explorer 8 as some of the functionalities of SUGARCRM
Community Edition do not work in Internet Explorer 9 and above. If you do not have
Internet Explorer 8, open your Internet Explorer and press F12 and set browser mode
to Internet Explorer 8.
NOTE:-After installing SugarCE-Full-6.5.8, you need to perform the following steps:
1. Logout from SUGARCRM.
2. Close the SUGARCRM login page.
3. Click the Show hidden icons drop-down button in the right-hand side of the taskbar.

4. Right-click the WAMPSERVER icon.
5. Select Exit.
6. Delete the sugarcrm folder from the following location on your system:
C:\wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.1.53\data
7. Copy the sugarcrm folder provided by your faculty at the following location on your
system:
C:\wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.1.53\data
